Dr. Helia Jafari

Dr. Helia Jafari completed her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Rutgers University, New Jersey. After completion of her undergraduate program, she then moved to Los Angeles and attended University of Southern California at which she received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. Jafari has always valued giving back to the community. As a dental student, she volunteered at local and international clinics including Ayuda Dental Clinic at Mexico and Peru, which provides dental care to underserved population, John Wesley Community Health Institute, which provides free dental services to homeless individuals, as well as The USC Mobile Dental Clinic that treats children in low-income communities.

She received her Orthodontics Specialty degree from Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, Georgia where she received 3 years of specialty training in traditional orthodontics, invisalign, and dentofacial orthopedics. Her career also includes private practice experience as a general dentist treating pediatrics patients in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Jafari is fluent in both Farsi and English. She is licensed to practice dentistry in both California and Georgia. She is a board certified orthodontist. Dr. Jafari is passionate about the field of orthodontics and loves the rewards and challenges of this field. She is committed to providing evidence-based clinical orthodontics. When Dr. Jafari is not working she enjoys yoga, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends
